Au lieu de coller des journaux ou des mangas, je vais coller des Tintin pour faire mon fond de toile ! L’histoire n’est pas banale, j’en conviens. En récupération, on trouve de tout, et c’est ce qui m’est récemment arrivé lorsque j’ai découvert un sac de vieux albums de Tintin avec les couvertures arrachées et des coups de cutter venant entailler de manière irrespectueuse le travail de Hergé.

Bref, c’est de manière aussi peu orthodoxe que j’ai décidé de faire un hommage au plus célèbre des capitaines, alcooliques sans aucune doute, mais d’une fidélité sans faille. Pour le reste, c’est un peu comme d’habitude… découpage, encollage, vitrification puis dessins aux Posca et peintures acrylique pour le personnage !

Instead of sticking newspapers or mangas, I will glue Tintin for my canvas background! The story is not trivial, I agree. In flee market, we can find everything, and this is what happened to me recently when I discovered a bag of old Tintin albums with ripped blankets and cutter cuts disguising the work of Hergé disrespectfully.

In short, it is so unorthodox that I decided to pay tribute to the most famous captains, alcoholics without a doubt, but with unfailing loyalty. For the rest, it’s a bit as usual … cutting, gluing, varnishing then drawings with Posca and acrylic paintings for the character!
