[US] This totem remains to be spelled for his or her future owner. Used in height, this canvas has been glued with pieces of Laotian newspapers and vitrified before the design of characters. The character on top, painted in gold color, brings an « icon » or « tribal fetish » mood. The global outline in white detach the characters from the background of the canvas.

[US] For this order, the idea was to use a canvas in the width. It has been a while since I wanted to make a zoom effect, it’s done ! The border in black allows to detach the canvas from the wall and gives a natural embossed view.

Du coup, ça donne un petit côté tableau de bord 😉 [US] I also put an alien communication set… it kept running through my head a long time ago, put a some geek stuff in the canvas to finally understand my characters! I walked in the cellar, I found old video cards that I cut with a jigsaw and then I used silver can. I put covers on the micro-processor that I’ve removed once the paint dried to see what is written above … It’s like a pilot dashboard 😉

Voilà vous savez tout 😉 [US] During those holidays, this artwork has traveled a lot in France… near under 40° Celsius in certain places ! And for those who might wonder why such a title … To reach the participatory approach, I published photos from the first sketches on my Facebook, and I ask users to decide, I grab two or three titles before voting for the most acclaimed! Now you know everything;-)

[US] For this Canvas, I used Lao newspapers I carefully ripped avoiding areas of color as the glue highlights them. to set up, I used gluing coat, being careful to glue the edges well so they do not rise. Once completely dry after one good day, I applied two layers of sealer coat to seal the paper before applying the paint to prevent water and the color going into the frames of the paper. For the creation, it is Posca for the overall design, two layers of gesso on all opaque white zones, and acrylic for all solids.
